Pomegranate garnet & blueberry sapphire ring
Pomegranate garnet & blueberry sapphire ring
Tutti Frutti cocktail jewellery - bursting with juicy fruit flavours.
A sweet pomegranate rhodolite garnet encircled by blueberry sapphires set in a rich rose gold halo ring.
Hand crafted in Shetland.
Gem pairing
“Rhodolite garnet, named after the pink rhododendron flower, represents inspiration and emotional healing, and is said to encourage love, kindness and compassion, and promotes self-worth and spiritual growth.
Blue sapphires are considered to represent loyalty, truth and honesty. Ancient Greeks and Romans also claimed blue sapphires held mystical powers, giving their owners wisdom and health.
The gems combined provide a balance of integrity, intuition, and growth... and look luscious together!”

ring Design
This Tutti Frutti halo ring is inspired by the Art Deco movement’s emphasis on symmetry and geometric patterns together with the flamboyant and pronounced central gems of classic Cocktail Jewellery. It sits raised off the finger and can be worn flush next to other rings or distinctly on its own, and complimented by other pieces from the Tutti Frutti collection.
Metalwork
The shank, halo and claws of the ring were created by forming and shaping metal bullion using traditional mounting methods. These ‘master’ ring components are then used to create moulds from which wax versions are made, and these waxes are cast into 9ct or 18ct recycled rose gold using the ‘lost wax’ casting method. The component castings are filed, emeried and smoothed before being soldered together using gold solder and a blowtorch.
Gems
The gems are responsibly sourced by a trusted dealer based in Hatton Garden, London who we work closely with to ensure the highest quality and most vibrantly coloured stones. The central 8mm brilliant cut rhodolite garnet is claw set and finished with talons, and the twenty four 1mm blue sapphires are individually set into the halo using the thread and grain technique.
Finishing touches
The completed ring is sent for Hallmarling at the Edinburgh Assay Office before returning home to Shetland to be given a final finish and polish.
The ring is presented in a high quality satin textured and chamois lined ring box.
